    We had a very positive stay with 4 more nights.

    Enjoyed coffee, terrace and it's own balcony in the room. The location of the hotel was very central, just off the cathedral in the center of the old town, public transport, both bus and metro and Placa de Catalunya, which is a central transport hub for the tourism bus and other excursions.

    best possible and peaceful location, 5 minutes' walk to gothic quarter centre. responsive staff, excellent services, including a good choice of splendid delicacies. plentiful breakfast with a good choice of pancakes, breads, pastries, fresh fruit and meats.

    The Hotel Colon was exactly as I expected....fabulous!!! I would certainly recommend it...central location...good accommodation and fabulous food and drink .....helpful staff...what more can I say?

    The location is excellent and the front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating. Rooms were comfortable, large, and very clean. The hotel also offers a very nice breakfast.

    The wait staff in the hotel's bar and restaurant were less than friendly, and left a negative impression on us. For example, refusing at first to speak English to us, ignoring us for quite some time when we sat down in the bar so that we couldn't order drinks, failing to bring an appetizer that we had ordered, etc.
